Taperwire is an ultra-flat 75 Ohm wire with a self-adhesive backing that allows you to easily hide the wire in plain sight. Many houses are not conducive to running wire after the walls are up. Stucco, plaster and masonry walls can pose challenges for even the most skilled installer. Fire blocking within the wall cavities and foam insulation can be impossible obstacles to overcome.
Taperwire is less than 1/32in thick. Simply stick it to the wall and cover it with paint, wallpaper or joint compound to make it disappear. IDC connectors are included with Taperwire to make the connection between the round and flat wire; the only tool needed is a pair of pliers. Use our gold-plated f-type connectors (#29788) for a complete installation (sold separately). |
